Are Maison Célune Gel Melts made with wax?
No. Maison Célune Gel Melts are made using a premium fragranced gel rather than traditional wax. This allows the gel to be removed cleanly once cooled, making it easy to change fragrances without scraping or residue.

Are your fragrance oils alcohol free?
Yes. Our Perfumed Gel Melts are made using premium fragrance oils and are completely alcohol free.
Are your products vegan and cruelty free?
Yes. All Maison Célune products are vegan friendly and cruelty free. We never test our products on animals.
What ingredients are used?
Our Perfumed Gel Melts are made using a premium fragrance gel combined with carefully selected fragrance oils. Every fragrance is developed to create an elegant, long-lasting home fragrance experience.
How long does one Gel Melt last?
Each 50g Perfumed Gel Melt offers over 20 hours of beautiful fragrance, depending on your burner, room size and how often it is used.
Are your fragrances strong?
Our fragrances are intentionally balanced to create a noticeable yet elegant scent. Rather than overwhelming a room, they gently fill your space with continuous fragrance designed to feel refined and inviting.

How do I use a Gel Melt?
Simply remove the gel from the jar and place it into the dish of your ceramic burner. Light an unscented tealight beneath the burner and allow the fragrance to gently fill your space. Once the scent has naturally faded, allow the gel to cool completely before lifting it out and replacing it with a new fragrance.
Do I need a special burner?
For the best experience, we recommend using the Maison Célune Ceramic Burner. Any quality ceramic burner with sufficient height between the tealight and fragrance dish may also be suitable.
Can I reuse the same Gel Melt?
Yes. Continue using the same Gel Melt until you can no longer smell the fragrance. Once the fragrance has faded, simply replace it with a new one.
Can I leave the gel inside my burner?
Yes. Once your tealight has been extinguished and the gel has cooled, you can leave it in your burner until you're ready to enjoy it again or change fragrances.
Can I put the gel back into the jar?
Yes. Once the gel has completely cooled, simply place it back into its original jar and replace the lid until you're ready to use it again.
Is it messy to remove?
Not at all. Once cooled, the gel lifts away easily in one piece, making it easy to switch fragrances without scraping hardened wax.
Can I mix fragrances?
Absolutely. Layering fragrances is a beautiful way to personalise your home. Try combining fresh citrus with warm woods or soft florals with creamy vanilla to create a fragrance that feels uniquely yours.
How many tealights will one Gel Melt last?
This depends on the burn time of your tealights and how often you use your burner. On average, each Gel Melt offers over 20 hours of beautiful fragrance.
How should I store my Gel Melts?
Keep your Gel Melts in their original jar with the lid securely closed. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Does the fragrance evaporate if I leave it uncovered?
For the best fragrance performance, always return the gel to its original jar or keep the lid securely closed whenever it is not being used.
Are your products safe around pets?
As with all home fragrance products, we recommend using them responsibly. Always keep burners and fragrance products out of reach of children and pets and ensure the room is well ventilated. If you have concerns regarding a specific pet or sensitivity, we recommend consulting your veterinarian before use.
Can I leave my burner unattended?
No. Never leave a lit tealight unattended. Always extinguish the flame before leaving the room and allow the burner to cool completely before handling.
How many Gel Melts should I use at once?
We recommend using one Gel Melt at a time to achieve the intended fragrance experience and fragrance performance.
Can I reuse the glass jars?
Yes. Our heavyweight glass jars are designed to be kept and repurposed. They make beautiful containers for jewellery, cotton pads, desk accessories or other small keepsakes once cleaned.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Every Maison Célune order is carefully packaged to create a beautiful unboxing experience. Selected products are also available with gift packaging, making them ideal for birthdays, housewarmings and special occasions. We also offer customised Hand Written Cards as an option.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship throughout South Africa, The UAE and The UK. Our shipping partners are reliable and all deliveries are estimated to take between 1 and 5 days.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are typically dispatched within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery times vary depending on your location and will be confirmed at checkout.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking details.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Although every order is carefully packaged, accidents can happen during transit. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs of the damaged item and we'll resolve it as quickly as possible.
Can I return my order?
If you are not 100% satisifed with your Maison Célune order we can arrange for a return and refund.
