About Maison Célune

Maison Célune is a South African home fragrance brand creating luxury Perfumed Gel Melts, ceramic burners and home fragrance accessories.

Ordering

Once you place an order, you'll receive an email confirming that we've received it.

This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order. Orders are only accepted once payment has been successfully processed and your order has been prepared for dispatch.

Maison Célune reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order due to pricing errors, suspected fraud, unavailable stock or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where payment has already been received, a full refund will be issued.

Product Availability

Our collections are produced in limited quantities.

Although we work hard to maintain accurate inventory levels, products may occasionally become unavailable before our website has been updated.

Should an item become unavailable after purchase, we'll contact you as soon as possible to arrange one of the following:

  • A full refund

  • An exchange

  • An agreed alternative product

Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.

Prices include VAT where applicable but exclude shipping charges unless specifically stated.

Maison Célune reserves the right to amend pricing at any time without prior notice. The price charged will always be the price displayed at the time your order is placed.

Payment

We accept secure online payment methods made available during checkout.

Payment must be successfully completed before an order can be dispatched.

Maison Célune does not store your payment information.

Shipping & Delivery

Delivery timeframes are provided as estimates only.

Although we work with trusted courier partners, delays caused by customs, weather, public holidays, courier disruptions or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may occasionally occur.

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to you once your order has been delivered to the shipping address supplied during checkout.

Please ensure your delivery details are accurate. Maison Célune cannot accept responsibility for delays, failed deliveries or additional costs resulting from incorrect delivery information.

Inspecting Your Order

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If your parcel arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours by emailing:

  • Your order number

  • Photographs of the parcel

  • Photographs of the affected product

  • A brief description of the issue

We'll investigate the matter promptly and work towards an appropriate resolution.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our home fragrance products, we cannot accept returns simply because a fragrance was not your personal preference.

If your product arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Where required under applicable South African consumer legislation, Maison Célune will repair, replace or refund eligible products.

Unless a product is faulty, returned items must be unused and returned in their original packaging.

Please refer to our Returns Policy for further information.

Product Information

We make every effort to ensure our product descriptions, fragrance notes and imagery are accurate.

Because fragrance is experienced differently by every individual, scent descriptions are intended as a guide only.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, slight variations in colour, finish or appearance may occur between batches.

Safe Use

Maison Célune products should always be used responsibly.

Please ensure you:

  • Keep products out of reach of children and pets.

  • Never leave a burning tealight unattended.

  • Use only a suitable ceramic burner.

  • Place your burner on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

  • Follow all care and safety instructions provided with your purchase.

Maison Célune accepts no responsibility for damage, injury or loss resulting from misuse, improper handling or failure to follow the recommended safety instructions.

Intellectual Property

All content featured on this website, including but not limited to our logos, branding, product names, fragrances, photography, graphics, copywriting, product designs, packaging, website design and other creative works, remains the exclusive intellectual property of Maison Célune unless otherwise stated.

The Maison Célune name, logos, branding elements, product names and associated creative works are protected by copyright. Trademark applications relating to the Maison Célune brand and associated intellectual property are currently in progress in South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.

No part of this website may be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, modified, transmitted or used for commercial purposes without the prior written permission of Maison Célune.
